Christian living Green
I often feel like living "Green" and being a Christian have similar challenges. When a Christain swears or complains or has a parenting melt down there are people who will stop and say "So much for being a Christian" or some similar judgement either about the person or Christains in general. When a person attempting to live "Green" has bottled water, snack in a ziplock bag or drives an SUV there are poeple who will stop and say "So much for living Green" or again some judgment. Isn't it obvious that we are people, imperfect people just attempting to live life the best we can and do the best we can for our world. I am a Christian who occasionally swears, I do complain and of course I still use some plastic products. We do own an SUV, can I have points for being a stay-at-home mom and driving less than 7,000 miles a year? Okay all that said... I really only wanted to point out the similarities of these unrelated ways of life. I don't hide how quirky I can be. Some might say I am a Jesus freak, worry wort and I'd say Thank You! Then I would go home and complain to my husband that I can't save the planet alone and pray for you who mocks me.
